A while ago, I was numb and disconnected between my mind and my soul. Creating a meaningless future that drained me, I felt helpless and stressed.
I wanted to feel genuinely happy and fulfilled, but I believed that meant seeking approval from others.
But then I realised that true fulfilment comes from within. Instead of seeking external validation, I started listening to my heart and pursuing what genuinely made me happy.
Once I embraced internal fulfilment, I felt a deep sense of joy and satisfaction. It was liberating to know that my happiness was my responsibility.
When we start to reflect on activities that make us feel alive and energised, we spend more time engaging in these activities and less time worrying about external opinions. Our happiness becomes our responsibility.
2. Shift from Scarcity to Abundance
I used to have a mentality of lack. I believed that opportunities were limited and that good things weren't meant for me.
I wanted to believe that life had more to offer, that there was enough for everyone, including me.
So, I’ve decided to embrace a mindset of abundance, realising that opportunities are plentiful and that I could create a life of plenty.
By practising gratitude daily, I opened my eyes to the abundance already present in my life.
This simple habit shifted my perspective and made me feel hopeful and empowered.

I Was in a mind space where fear held me back, keeping me engaged in activities that drained my spirit. I was stuck in my comfort zone (that wasn’t that comfortable anyway…), afraid of failure.
In my deepest desires, I wanted to move past my fear and see challenges as opportunities for growth.
So I decided to transform my fear into curiosity. I began to see challenges not as obstacles but as opportunities for discovery and growth.
Facing my fears with curiosity opened up a world of possibilities. I felt more adventurous and willing to take risks, which led to personal growth.
When we start to take small steps towards facing our fears with curiosity, we open ourselves up to new experiences and growth.
4. Shift from Comparison to Self-Compassion
For years, I compared myself to others, feeling like I was always falling short.
I wanted to feel good about myself and recognise my unique journey.
I decided that it was time to start practising self-compassion. Instead of comparing myself to others, I focused on my strengths and celebrated my achievements.
This shift helped me see my own worth and potential. I felt more confident and prouder of my unique journey.

5. Shift from Busy to Purposeful
My life was a whirlwind of busyness with no real sense of purpose. I felt like I was just going through the motions.
I wanted to live intentionally, focusing on what truly mattered to me.
The change started to happen when I evaluated my daily tasks and eliminated those that didn't serve my purpose. I made room for activities that aligned with my values and goals.
Living purposefully brought a sense of fulfilment and clarity. I felt more in control of my life and aligned with my true desires.
